We seek a Product Manager to join our team to lead the development of our learning and knowledge applications. Today, knowledge management systems are critical to enabling our analysts to deliver capabilities in learning, workforce development, and human capital management markets used to shape the future of the workforce. The Product Manager, Knowledge Systems will lead overall product strategy with full accountability for all aspects of knowledge systems development and product lifecycle.
Product Managers at Burning Glass drive the product and market definition, technical and market requirements, product marketing, sales facilitation, and customer success of new and enhanced enterprise solutions in the learning and workforce and human capital management markets. The Product Manager, Knowledge Systems is responsible for understanding of the core problems in these markets and the definition of, and execution to, the product roadmap.
The Product Manager, Knowledge Systems owns and directs the development of Burning Glass’ information science assets. This role works cross-functionally, and with a keen eye towards user experience, to deliver cutting-edge solutions using machine learning, statistical models, and algorithms to drive Burning Glass’ knowledge strategy.
The successful candidate will be an effective manager of data science and technology projects and interacting with data science and agile development teams. Based in our Boston office, this position is responsible for working with analysts and other internal stakeholders and will guide cross-functional teams from design to continuous delivery. He or she will gather and synthesize customer and market insights to fuel the development of Burning Glass’ knowledge systems, define personas, and inform knowledge strategy. Position requirements include attention to detail and an enthusiasm for managing quantitatively.
